BiographyHistory

Leann J Edwards is descended from the Mara tribe (Gulf of Carpentaria), and the Wiradjuri tribe (central New South Wales).

Leann has completed a course in Koori Art and Design at East Gippsland College of TAFE, and has exhibited widely in Australia and overseas. She has also worked as a Koori Perspective Teacher. 

Her picture book Emus Under the Bed was shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Book of the Year Awards in 2015.
