Seemingly premiered in Leeds in 1909. Following a lengthy run on the London stage, the play was bought into Australia by George Marlow in late 1910 ('Dramatic Notes', Advertiser, 8 October 1910, p.21).
It appeared occasionally on Australian stages for at least the next decade.
