Series of eight standalone half-hour television plays, filmed on a single studio set.

The advertising material for the premiere episode emphasised that they were 'teleplays which combine modern video techniques with the traditional theatrical emphasis on scripts and acting.' ([Television guide], Canberra Times, 29 September 1986, p.3S).
