BiographyHistory

Marcial Parada was a union official in Chile in 1973 and thus was a target for the military following the coup of 11 September. He stayed in Chile untl 1976 but suffered ongoing discrimination and threats. He applied to migrate to Australia and was accepted. He and his family settled in Queensland.
