AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A debate on the substantial historical issue of the response of Aboriginals to British colonization with guerrilla warfare or wars of resistance, with specific focus on the Sydney Aborigine named Musquito, is addressed. It is argued that Musquito cannot be described as a guerilla warrior or resistance fighter as their actions did not involve attacks on British troops or assaults on settlers and stockmen, other than with an aim of robbery.
