BiographyHistory

'David Bridie is a seven-­time ARIA award-­winning songwriter and composer.

'A founding member and songwriter of critically acclaimed musical groups Not Drowning Waving and My Friend the Chocolate Cake, he has credits for more than sixteen soundtracks, including the films Satellite Boy, Proof, Bran Nue Dae, The Man Who Sued God and Gone.

'He has produced artists including Archie Roach, Christine Anu and Melanesian musician George Telek, among many others.' (Griffith Review 77)
