'This powerfully written story tells how Denis Corbett seeks refuge from the river mist and meets the beautiful Gypsy and her hunted father. Corbett feels an uncanny reluctance to leave his strange companions. When Gypsy plays the violin he sees the wildness die in her father's eyes and wonders ... An eerie play with tragic climax.'
