BiographyHistory

Micko Donovan was a Gumbaingirr person. He was born in 1934 in Bowraville in Northern New South Wales. Educated in a local convent, he was taught by nuns to play piano and guitar. He was a gifted songwriter. Micko married Aileen in 1956 and died in 1988.
