Banjo Worrumarra (a.k.a. Banjo Wirrunmarra; Banjo Woorunmurra) b. 1915 (6 works by fr. 1979)

Banjo Worrumarra came from Ngalarra country in the northwestern part of Bunuba territory near Winjana Gorge. He worked as a stockman at Fairfield and cattle stations throughout the area, and was commonly known as the senior custodian of Bunuba traditions including the Jandamarra story. Worrumarra shared the Jandamarra story with Howard Pedersen, who later published it as Jandamarra and the Bunuba Resistance (1995). In 1979, Banjo Worrumarra was the Chairman of the Pandanus Park Community Inc.
