History

To honour the life of Australian feminist Edna Ryan, the EDNA Awards celebrate women who make a feminist difference. Since 2012 the Awards have been hosted and supported by the Australian Services Union, which in that year won an historic Equal Pay Case for social and community workers across Australia. Recipients

Notes

  • The Edna Ryan Award is presented annually by the Women's Electoral Lobby (New South Wales). The award honours the work and commitment of Edna Ryan, a campaigner on behalf of women's rights, particularly in the work place.
