AbstractHistoryArchive Description

''Collisions Can Be Painful' is a darkly comical new play by Phil Spencer. Inspired by Alasdair Gray's poem The Split, we meet Veronica and Colin, two souls lost in a barren garden. The hapless pair spend eternity arguing, playing hide and seek and telling tall tales to keep from going insane, until the prospect of parenthood flips everything upside down. This sharp Beckettian comedy will pull you into a damp and intriguing wheelbarrow world, filled with giant mouths, friendly snails and so called magic tomatoes...' (University of Glasgow website)
