The poem responds to René Magritte's painting 'Collective Invention', depicting a beached mermaid in reverse, a fish with a woman's legs. The final two lines are:
W oku kobiety-ryby
Jarzy się ziarno galaktyki
[In the eye of the woman-fish
Glows a galactic grain]
