The story of 'Red Jack', or Hannah Glennan, whose childhood was spent on an isolated station where she developed expert skills as a horse-breaker. With her life dogged by tragedy with the deaths of her parents, siblings, and husband, while still a young woman Hannah took to the outback routes and lived the rest of her life as a nomadic horse-breaker until she too was killed in a fall from a horse.
