Courting Samira is a book by Sydney-based author and editor Amal Awad. It tells the story of Samira - a headscarf wearing 27-year old. While her colleagues' work days are punctuated by bars and boyfriends, Samira faces an endless round of visiting male suitors in her living room. This podcast contains an interview with the author.
