AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Hunston describes a visit to the leper camp at False point, just out of Cairns. He is saddened by the two inmates and sympathises with their plight, forever separated from their homeland and loved ones. He pays tribute to the organisers and performers who, at short notice, staged an entertainment to raise funds for the Benevolent Society.
