AbstractHistoryArchive Description
'Radio poetry is not simply reading poetry on the radio. Its elements are spoken words, non-verbal sounds, music, and silence, and its grammar includes mixes, cuts, fades and special effects. It uses all these things to build a poem within the radio medium. The radio poem has certain similarities and certain differences from poetry on the page.' (Author's abstract)
