Megan Doherty reports on a small exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra, celebrating the centenary of the birth of Patrick White. The exhibition, titled White Whiteley, features the painting Patrick White at Centennial Park together with eleven studies of White by Whiteley created around the time of the portrait (1979-1980).
