Jason Steger reports that James Ley was inadvertently contacted by Roland Gridiger, chairman of the Geraldine Pascall Foundation, to inform Ley that he had won the 2012 Geraldine Pascall Prize for Literary Writing. Gridiger phoned Ley to apologise for the mistake as soon as it was discovered.
