In 1985, twenty-five Koori people were enrolled in the Associate Diploma in Adult Education Course at Institute of Technical and Adult Teacher Education (I.T.A.T.E.). Yambul is their newsletter. These students undertook 'block release' studies and attended twenty classes in Sydney and the rest of the time they worked at home on projects, assisted by a local tutor.
