'The poems in this book follow a broadly autobiographical line, organised in three sections. The first, 'Cronulla' covers her family and early life;the second, 'Canberra' relates to marriage, family, and life in the Canberra years 1960 t0 1988; the third, 'Newcastle' continues her story after moving to the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie area in 1988 and finding new associations with people, land and sea.'
