Notes

  • Swanton means 'swinging monkeys'; Swanton was pronounced by Chinese Tiewchau or Chao Zhou as 'Tzaitón', which was then turned into 'Xà Tón' by Vietnamese. The Sino-Vietnamese of 'Xà Tón' is 'Tri Tôn'.
