'Charles Moran, of Goonellabah, tells of his life from his earliest memories to years on the move in search of work, his marriage and family, to his last job before he retired on an invalid pension as a result of his years working at the Baryulgil asbestos mine. His account gives a rare account of a Koori's life.'
