  • An undated cutting of this poem appears in Kendall's scrapbook. First publication details remain to be established.
  • Note that Kendall wrote two different poems titled 'Drowned at Sea'. This poem is inspired by the 'coasters', ie. the ships and crews involved in coastal shipping.
