Notes

  • A satirical sketch, in the form of a dialogue between a 'City-minister' and a 'Working-man', on the issue of Chinese immigration. At the time a number of Sydney ministers of religion had signed a manifesto in which they expressed their disapproval at the ill-treatment of Chinese immigrants.
