AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Sentiment is delicately portrayed in Bernard Cronin's latest radio play, to be presented by the Australian Broadcasting Commission. Entitled 'Aren't You Mister Plate?' it depicts a likeable tramp, who, although most disreputable in appearance, nevertheless possesses a heart of gold. How a child discovers beauty within the dross of a human derelict displays an interesting feature of child psychology.'
