'Petra is an 11 year old with some serious problems. The school bullies are out to get her, she is having visions of monsters that seem all too real, her craft project keeps trying to kill her, and her favourite teacher, the librarian Mrs. Benson, has been replaced by a sword-wielding lunatic who dresses as a barbarian. Petra s life is spiralling out of control and is seems only the crazy barbarian librarian can save her... and she might be the only person who can save him.' (Publication summary)
