AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The result of two years of research, writing and creative development, The Girls in Grey, is based on the diaries of the Australian women who served as nurses in the "Great War." In doing so it offers unique personal insights into the often over-looked roles they played during this turbulent period of human history.
