  • A brief letter in which the author criticises Charles Harpur's 'paraphrase' of the 137th Psalm, 'The Babylonian Captivity', published in the Empire on 13 May, 1856. This letter accompanied the author's own translation, 'Lament of the Captive Jews at Babylon' which is separately indexed.
