AbstractHistoryArchive Description
'This book is a story of beginnings in Port Phillip, and a mirror to reflect the figures of certain squatters. It consists mainly of two parts. The chief of these is the Narrative of George Russell of Golf Hill, manager of the Clyde Company from the year 1836 [pp.19-397]. Subsidiary to the Narrative there is the Russellania or History of the Russells. This was compiled in the year 1841.' (Philip L. Brown's introduction, p.iii)
