This, the sixteenth in a series on pioneers and explorers, tells of Sir George Grey who came to Australia to explore the north west of the country. The deprivations he endured, and the discoveries he made are outlined, as well as his work as Govenor of South Australia, Govenor of New Zealand, Govenor of the Cape, and High Commissioner of South Africa.
