A stowaway is discovered on a ship sailing north from Brisbane. The stowaway professes to be a brother of the religion of Brotherly Love. Under his influence the crew of the ship change their crude habits and are happy to help the brother in any way he asks. On arrival at Maroochydore they are apprised of a confidence trickster who had recently escaped from Brisbane police. They each check their cabins and discover that their valuables have been taken.
