AbstractHistoryArchive Description
The journal's main aim is to support emerging Japanese Studies scholars by providing a platform for the promotion of outstanding research and writing by students and early career researchers. The Japan Foundation, Sydney hopes that New Voices will contribute to encouraging these Japanese studies scholars to continue their research and interest in Japan, while also giving general readers access to the wide breadth and high quality of Japanese studies in Australian universities. Also, by functioning as an archive of outstanding research, the journal will, over time, serve as a useful tool for tracking the changing interests of emerging Japanese Studies scholars. -- From the journal's webpage
