After five years as Head of Sciences at Museam Victoria, award winning scientist and author Dr. John Long has recently taken up the 'prestigious' position position of Vice-President of Research and Collections at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. Lynne Babbage acknowledges Dr. Long's achievements which includes the highly successful non-fiction books for young readers, Gogo Fish!, The Big Picture Book series and his latest release The Short Tragic Life of Leo the Maruspial Lion.
