'Based on journal entries of Mrs Elizabeth Macquarie. She was the wife of Governor Macquarie who was the governor of New South Wales between 1810 and 1821. She took a particular interest in the welfare of women, convicts and the Indigenous peoples of the colony.'

  • '"Mrs Macquarie's Cello" is a music theatre piece for radio, with some spoken word. It is a co-production between Classic FM and Airplay, with The Song Company. It features the work of several writers (including Lisa Morrisset and Donna Abela) and the work has been composed by Raffaele Marcellino.'
