'Al and Owen are back in the Dragon Blood Islands, but this time they are kidnapped by the nasty Captain Blacktooth and equally unfriendly cabin boy Flash.

'Captain Blacktooth wants to sell the boys to Stanley Spong, but just as he is sailing The Revenge over to town, Snotty Nell and her crew close in for the attack! A long and horrifying battle ensues, and Snotty sails off with Captain Blacktooth's treasure.

'Angry, and blaming Al and Owen for his misfortune, Captain Blacktooth decides to maroon the boys on Snake Island, where they will no doubt starve to death. '(Publication summary)
