Izzy's mother dies when she's 18, leaving her to care for five-year-old Luke alone until his death.Interspersed with flashbacks to the Blanket Girls, Izzy attends the funeral of Luke, her brother with Down syndrome, waiting for the Blanket Girls to appear.
