AbstractHistoryArchive Description
'In the commercial pine plantations 50 kilometres north of Brisbane, great swathes of bush have been replaced by straight rows of tall pines. Dim corridors run between the rows, access roads criss-cross these occasionally, and distantly, the freeway cuts through the dark forest. As the sun sinks, two young people come, laughing, through the trees, Quin and Bex. Gradually, it becomes clear that Quin is running from something that occurred earlier in the day, something so terrible he has blocked it from his mind but the images rise like groundwater ... Then two men arrive, one of whom falls to his knees, and begins thrusting a knife into the ground.' Source: www.liveguide.com.au/ (Sighted 04/11/08).
