- 2008 winner Victorian Premier's Literary Awards — The Prize for Best Music Theatre Script
- 2006 shortlisted Pratt Prize for Music Theatre The judges for the Pratt Prize 2006, in place of presenting the award this year, decided to commission two of the six finalists to create new musicals. Anthony Crowley was one of these and was awarded $10,000 to develop the book for a new musical and $10,000 for research and travel.
