  • Author's note: This speech is an excerpt from the work-in-progress stage play about the experiences of international students in Australia called 'Student Body' commissioned by the Melbourne Theatre Company. Part verbatim theatre, part structured drama, the work is based on real-life interviews of students studying in Australia. It is written to be spoken aloud.
