Editor's Note: 'News From the Schools'. Children contributed 4,934 pounds to the State Schools' War Relief Fund during October and sent 6,000 articles to the Comforts Fund and 7,000 articles to the Red Cross. Children in 1,127 schools bought war savings certificates worth 70,000 pounds. There are also now Social Service Leagues in 750 schools.
