  • Editor's note: This song is included in the reminisceneces of Mrs Neil McLean (Sydney Morning Herald 1937). She reports that Clara was the strong woman of the tribe that once lived on Coolangatta Estate. She lived to a great age. When visiting relatives at the Crooked River camp (Gerroa), she contracted a serious illness. She was buried in Kiama cemetery where a local clergyman officiated.
