Notes

  • Preface: "These verses were never written for publication, but I am having them printed as a very poor tribute to the memory of my dear friend, who died suddenly at Avon Downs, Northern Territory, on 14th September, 1916. They will only be of interest to those who, like myself, were fortunate enough to know, which was to love, The Man, The White Man, The Gentleman. (G. G. Carr, Mooloomoon, 1917).
