Epigraph: And if we die, let us be buried. - Francisco Goya y Lucientes
Author's note: Leocadia Zorrilla de Weiss was Franciso Goya's housekeeper and mistress until his death; her daughter Roasario is often presumed to be Goya's child. Leocadio followed Goya from Sapin to his exile in France. On his deathbed Goya asked for Leocadia to be written into his will; his son Javier lied and said he and already done so. Leocadia was left destitute in France.
