Interview with David Malouf, Lorenzo Autero (interviewer), single work interview
'This interview is part of the work I collected and brought to an end, during the long period I spent in Australia, in the year 2002, when I completed the research for my dissertation thesis in Foreign Languages and Literatures, studying the theme of the double in David Malouf's novels. In the months of August and September I was given the chance to meet the writer more than once, in his house in Sydney. During the writing of my thesis, Itinerari del Doppio nella Narrativa di David Malouf, I kept in contact with the Australian writer. I wish to thank him once again for his great helpfulness and collaboration.' -- Author's abstract.
