A discussion and compilation of reprographica - the pictorial and printed humour reproduced and transmitted through modern communications technologies. Reprograhica is also termed Xerox-lore and reprograhpic folklore or lore.


  • Author's note: Sources: Apart from those items noted in the introduction, the examples of reprographic lore included in this collection are all from the Seal collection, currently [1996] housed in the Western Australian Folklore Archive (WAFA) in Curtin University..., Perth [Western Australia]. The reprographic material in this collection was either collected by the author, beginning in the late 1960s, or collected on his behalf. The WAFA also contains a number of student collections of reprographic material dating from the mid-1980s and, as part of the Kel Watkins collection, a sizeable manuscript of Australian reprographica assembeld in the 1970s and 1980s.
