Notes

  • A brief report on author Myra Morris, who had just returned to Australia on the ship Esperence Bay, having spent a number of months in England. Morris' reported comments are interesting : 'I went abroad in search of copy and found an abundence of it, chiefly in a walking and cycling tour round the coastline of Cornwall and Devon...The London public is not thrilled by a book with an Australian setting. There is little demand for this. So in the book I intend shortly to write the background will be English'. Includes a photo.
