The Asian Studies Review is the flagship publication of the Asian Studies Association of Australia. It is published in association with Taylor and Francis. The journal aims to take a contemporary approach to critical studies of Asia and to encourage new, multidisciplinary research with blind peer-reviewed articles as well as review articles and book reviews. Each issue also contains over a dozen book reviews subdivided into geographic groupings such as China; Japan and Korea; South, West and Central Asia; Southeast Asia. The book reviews reflect the multidisciplinary scope of the Asian Studies Review, covering books on anthropology, religion, politics, biography, philosophy, and international relations.--Adapted from Ulrichsweb Serials Directory
