AbstractHistoryArchive Description
Vistazo published world news and current affairs articles in Spanish. It also provided coverage of cultural events in the Hispanic communities in Australia and New Zealand. Its literary pages were mostly devoted to international writers. In 1980 it ran a series of articles over several issues on Aboriginal culture. In January 1979 it began an anonymous column titled 'Comentarios de un Blady Woggie' which offered a migrant's view of events in Australia. The author of this column was Luis Abarca, known as Lucho Abarca, who in 1992 published a collection titled Las historias de un Blady Woggie.
