Notes

  • One of a number of articles involving bush walks and walking tours which Vance Palmer wrote for the Brisbane press, during the period he and Nettie Palmer were living on the Sunshine Coast in the mid 1920s. In this first article on his 'tramp' in the Blackall Range, Palmer gives an account of the section from Maleny to Montville, made along rough bush tracks, through remnant rainforest belts, and past banana farms and orchards.
