Author's note: 'Mr. J. Milbourne, of Warracknabeal, speaking at the Dooen Agricultural College, declared that three or four years ago the "flappers" in Melbourne would poke their noses in the air at the farmer. But "flappers" have found out in the last couple of years upon whom they depend for the powder and paint on their noses (Laughter)'
